Nairobi Masai Mara National Reserve
You will have an early morning start and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will check in at your accommodation and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive. The reserve is famous for its populations of elephants, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, buffalos, gazelles, rhinos, lions, leopards and cheetahs. Activities from Saruni Mara include morning and afternoon game drives, and night game drives (optional) to spot nocturnal creatures such as aardvarks and honey badgers. You can head out on a black rhino tracking experience, guided bush walk, horse riding, a cultural visit to Maasai villages and markets, or take a magical hot air balloon flight over the plains of the Masai Mara, which can be arranged at an extra cost, followed by a beautiful breakfast. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be taken on two game drives today, in the morning before breakfast and in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. Although it might be tempting to stay in bed and wait until the afternoon to explore. This is an experience that will surely create lifetime memories. If you are fortunate enough you will catch lions during one of their rare bouts of daytime activities. It’ll be fascinating to watch the social interaction between pride members especially the playful ways of lion cubs under the watchful eyes of their mothers. The reserve is famous for its wildebeest migration. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
Masai Mara National Reserve Lake Nakuru National Park
You will have an early morning pick-up, then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it is alkaline and recognized as being one of the Natural Wonders of the World. You will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park including visits to viewpoints, which offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos (greater and lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhinos and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. You will arrive in time for lunch and then have an afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Lake Nakuru National Park Lake Naivasha National Park
You will have an early morning drive to Lake Naivasha. It is the highest and the most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes. Naivasha is yet another area popular for bird watching (over 400 species). There are no crocodiles in the lake as the water is too cold for them, due to altitude but there are a number of hippos. An optional boat ride can be organized at an extra cost. You will also visit Crescent Island. It can be described as a garden, an animal sanctuary or simply a little paradise. If you enjoy nature photography, then you will be overwhelmed by the beauty that Crescent Island holds. From small to big animals and birds, the sunset hits the water's surface and the lush green vegetation that covers the space. Most of the animals here are herbivores such as giraffes, zebras, impalas and hippos. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Lake Naivasha Amboseli National Park
You will have an early morning drive to Amboseli National Park. You will check in at your accommodation and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive. Amboseli National Park is situated due south of Nairobi. Most of the park consists of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland. In the southern area, there are a number of small, rocky, volcanic hills. Around the swamps Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation is lush with yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms. The park is known as the best place to view large herds of elephants up close. There is an immense view of Mount Kilimanjaro which is across the border of Kenya and Tanzania. It is also dominated by vast Lake Amboseli which is dry outside the rainy season. There are more than 600 species of birds in the park. You will spend your night at the lodge.
Full Day At Amboseli National Park
You’ll rise up early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with a packed lunch provided. An optional visit to a Maasai village can be planned after breakfast (at an extra cost). The visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at a close range. Left carefree, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps must form the highlights of any safari. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
