Day 2 Exploration
Day 1 - Arusha to Serengeti National Park: 6:00am: You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport for approximately a 5-6 hour drive to Serengeti National Park. En route, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 12:00pm: Arrival at the Naabi Hill Gate, the entrance to the Serengeti. Brief registration continues into the Serengeti with a short game drive. 12:30pm: Picnic lunch en route. 1:00pm: Continue your transfer and game viewing, spotting the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and other wildlife. 3:30pm: Take an afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti. Look for lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest and various antelopes. Explore the Seronera Valley, known for its year-round water and abundant wildlife. 6:30pm: Drive to your hotel in Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 Exploration
Day 2 - Serengeti National Park to Karatu: 6:00am: Early morning game viewing in Serengeti, as this is the best time to see predators in action. 9:00am: Picnic breakfast in the park. 10:00am: Game viewing continues. 12:00pm: Picnic lunch in Serengeti. 2:00pm: Depart from Serengeti and head towards Karatu (approximately 3-4 hours' drive). 6:00pm: Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Karatu.
Day 4 Exploration
Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha: 6:30am: Early breakfast at the hotel. 7:30am: Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater and begin the descent for a morning game drive within the crater.
