Depending on your landing time at the Airport, our English/French speaking staff/Driver guide will come to pick you up from the airport. They will drive you on the Kigali City tour where you will get a chance to explore and visit different sites of the city such as the Kigali genocide Memorial, the biggest local market in Kigali called Kimironko, Nyamirambo where Kigali as a capital started, and many more interesting sites for travelers. After that, the Lion Safaris driver-guide will choose the best restaurant in the city to have lunch. After enjoying lunch, you'll be driven to your booked hotel and check in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer To Nyungwe National Park

In the morning, after having your breakfast from the hotel in Kigali, a Lion Safaris driver-guide will drive you will come to pick you up from your hotel. You'll be heading to Nyungwe National Park which is located in southwest Rwanda and stop on the way to visit the royal palace museum in the southern province. This will allow you to get a history of traditional ways of living among Rwandans and their past way of leadership of kingship with an en-route lunch. You'll continue your road up to Nyungwe National Park where you will spend the evening and have dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzees Trekking And Canopy Walk

After an early breakfast, you will go for a chimpanzee trekking. Nyungwe is a vast, mountain rain tropical forest over 1000 sq km in size. It is home to 13 species of primates, over 275 species of birds, and 100 varieties of orchids. After trekking, your driver-guide will bring you back to the lodge for lunch. Afterward, you'll enjoy a drive to the canopy walk away which is the highest bridge from the park on which tourists walk and enjoy the whole view of the park. Later, you'll be driven back to your booked lodge for dinner, and an overnight stay.
